It provides users with a number of useful tools for their MPI programs such as a set of profiling libraries that collect information about the behavior of MPI programs, graphical trace file analyzers, serializers, type checkers, collective operations validators, etc.
GASNet (Global-Address Space Networking) is a language-independent low-level networking layer that provides network-independent, high-performance communication primitives tailored for implementing parallel global-address space SPMD languages such as UPC, Titanium, and Co-Array Fortran. The interface is primarily intended as a compilation target and for use by runtime library writers (as opposed to end users), and the primary goals are high performance, interface portability, and expressiveness.
The Debea Database Access Library is a collection of interfaces that map C++ objects to relations in various SQL and file databases. The library uses a plug-in architecture to support various SQL RDBMSes and provides one simple interface for query processing and object serialization. There is a wrapper for wxWidgets that replaces the original dba API with a wx-friendly version.
Parallel Performance Wizard (PPW) is a performance analysis tool designed for UPC, MPI, and SHMEM programs. It features an easy-to-use interface and tight integration with GAS programming models via the GASP interface. It is known to work on many platforms. This project is part of a study of existing and emerging performance analysis theory and tools, current and future HPC architectures, and usability and user productivity preferences and methods, along with various programming models.
EDFbrowser is a multi-platform viewer for EEG, EMG, and ECG storage files. It supports the EDF, EDF+, BDF, and BDF+ file formats. It supports montages, annotations, precise measurements by using crosshairs, and a zoom function by drawing a rectangle with the mouse. It shows signals from different files at the same time. It includes a built-in EDF/EDF+/BDF/BDF+ to ASCII converter, a built-in Nihon Kohden to EDF+ converter (including annotations), a built in EDF+D to EDF+C converter, a BDF(+) to EDF(+) converter and a built-in EDF/EDF+/BDF/BDF+ compatibility checker.
