JNC (JavaNativeCompiler) is a Java to native compiler. It allows ahead of time compilation of your Java applications. With JNC, you can create real standalone native binaries which will no longer depend on a JRE. This is especially useful when applications have to be deployed to end users. Native applications are easier to deploy since the end user doesn't need to worry about JRE dependency. They are also harder to decompile, and they load more quickly.
MicroTiger is a graphical microcode simulator with a reconfigurable datapath. The datapath editor window, the main application window, allows for datapath creation and simulation. In addition, several other dialog windows are provided to aid in creating the datapath. The microprogram editor window allows for microprograms and aids in simulation. The ISA code is externally edited and can be viewed in the ISA code viewer window. The simulation controls are available in the main application window. The expression language is available for ALUs and custom components to customize the evaluation of these components.
The MAD project is an implementation of the FLUTE (File Delivery over Unidirectional Transport) protocol for the unidirectional delivery of files over the Internet over a multicast network. FLUTE builds on Asyncronous Layered Coding, which itself is a combination of Layered Coding Transport (LCT), Forward Error Correction (FEC), and multiple rate congestion control elements. The project provides a number of libraries providing the networking and error-correction layers and a file transfer tool that is built on top of them.
(Serial Ports on) Steroids enables users to execute remote C functions in a Python shell over a serial interface. It is useful for embedded system testing and industrial automation. It generates C code for the target and a Python script for the host automatically from a C header file.
Escluderlate is a Java game for mobiles and portable devices (J2ME). The scope is surviving inside the arena more than the computer controlled opponent(s). You have to avoid crashing on the walls that each player leaves behind. You can move your pointer using the arrows, or the keys 2(up), 4(left), 6(right), and 8(down). Escluderlate contains 21 different levels and 3 different speeds, but it's easily extendable.
