TIMES is a tool suite designed mainly for symbolic schedulability analysis and synthesis of executable code with predictable behaviors for real-time systems. Given a system design model consisting of a set of application tasks (required to meet mixed timing, precedence, and resource constraints), a network of timed automata describing the task arrival pattern and a preemptive or non-preemptive scheduling policy, TIMES will generate a scheduler, and calculate worst-case response times for the tasks. The design model may be further validated using a model checker and then compiled to executable C-code.
TransJ is multilingual desktop translation tool. It uses SWT for a native look and feel on each OS and a fast UI. It currently uses the SYSTRAN engine thru the AltaVista BabelFish service. Translation is a Web-based language teacher's tool. It allows you to add sentences and their correct translations to a database via a browser, choose from the database which sentences to 'serve' to a group or an individual student, give a header and a footer text to the prepared translation and activate it for use, and add students to the database. The students can browse to their part of Translation, log in, and do their excercise. When students have completed their task, a message is sent to them and their teacher containing the original sentences and the correct translation by the teacher and the pupil's version. The Administrator of Tranlation can add teachers to the database and modify the language.php file to the desired language, visible in the browser by everyone. It has language support for Dutch, English, German, Greek, Finnish, French, Italian, Japanese, Spanish, and Turkish.
