bcnu is a Web-based system management tool which delivers information on the status of networked systems in a simple and easy-to-use manner. It uses a web browser to display information about hosts in a tabular form. Historical information can be held indefinitely, and there is a powerful query tool available to interrogate it. cgrep provides many of the features of grep, egrep, and fgrep with enhanced performance along with many additional features. One of the most important features is the ability to output the context (surrounding lines) of the matching lines. The context window may be specified as a constant number of lines before and after the matching lines, by specifying beginning and ending delimiters, or various combinations thereof.

cz2cz tools is software for converting texts between various charset encodings that are used in the Czech language. The most important feature is autodetection of the most-used encodings (UTF-8, ISO-8859-2, Win-1250, cp850, and Kamenickych). There are both console non-interactive (text-based) and interactive (curses) applications. cz2cz also allows you to convert characters with diacritics to TeX (LaTeX) conventions. The interactive part of cz2cz tools can be used for quick manual complementing of diacritics to texts.

freeglut is intended to be a 100% plug-compatible clone, and is released under the Xfree license. The GLUT (OpenGL Utility Toolkit) is a widely used library for doing window control, keyboard, and mouse input, and other basic functions for OpenGL programs. However, GLUT is not OpenSourced - although it's source code is available under a somewhat ill-defined set of restrictions. Hence, 'freeglut'.

ioquake3 (or ioq3 for short) builds upon id Software's Quake 3 source code release. It cleans it up, fixes bugs, and adds features. Its goal is to be the Quake 3 distribution upon which people base their games and projects. Its design goals include optimizing the engine for playing Quake 3: Arena, Team Arena, and all popular mods. This distribution of the engine has been ported to many new platforms. While it doesn't have PunkBuster (and never will), it does provide more security for servers and clients by way of various bugfixes which aren't in id's client.
