UProxy is a proxy for UDP protocols. UProxy was initially designed to allow users to play Unreal Tournament matches over the Internet on computers sharing a dial up connection. It could also be used by any client-server application that uses the UDP protocol and doesn't require clients to bind a fixed port. UProxy should run under Windows, Linux, or any OS which supports BSD sockets.
Web Photo Album automatically generates photo albums on the fly from directories containing your favorite photos. Supports captions (including HTML tags), definable page sizes, forward and reverse preview, and index pages. All preview and index pages can be clicked to jump straight to the page that contains them. Album maintenance is easy -- just add or remove photos and (optionally) captions to your album directory.
web2ldap is a full-featured Web-based LDAPv3 client written in Python. It is designed to run either as with stand-alone built-in Web server or under the control of another Web server with FastCGI support (e.g. Apache with mod_fastcgi). It has support for various LDAPv3 bind methods and a powerful built-in schema browser. HTML templates are supported for displaying and editing entries, and LDIF templates can be used for quickly adding new entries. A built-in X.509 parser displays a detailed view of certificates and CRLs with active links.
The objective of the NIST Web Metrics Testbed is to explore the feasibility of a range of tools and techniques that support rapid, remote, and automated testing and evaluation of website usability. There are currently six components: 1. Web Static Analyzer Tool (WebSAT): checks web page HTML against typical usability guidelines. 2. Web Category Analysis Tool (WebCAT): lets the usability engineer construct and conduct a web category analysis (card-sorting). 3. Web Variable Instrumenter Program (WebVIP): instruments a website to capture a log of user interaction. 4. Framework for Logging Usability Data (FLUD): a file format and parser for representation of user interaction logs (such as those captured by WebVIP). 5. VisVIP Tool: produces a 3D visualization of user navigation paths through a website, based on FLUD data. 6. TreeDec: adds navigation aids to the pages of a website.
TalentSoft Web+ (WebPlus) is a development tool dedicated for developing web-based client-server applications without writing CGI programs. It enables rapid/easy creation of highly functional web pages which integrates with databases, files systems, email, Java applets, and other third-party programs. With Web+, users can quickly and easily create powerful Web applications without learning complicated programming languages such as C, C++, PERL, or Java. Web+ currently runs on Microsoft Windows NT/95, Linux, Sun Solaris, HP-UX, SGI IRIX, and will soon be available on other Unix systems. It works with most web servers and integrates with all ODBC compliant databases.
Webware for Python is a suite of Python packages and tools for developing object-oriented, Web-based applications. The suite uses well known design patterns and includes a fast Application Server, Servlets, Python Server Pages (PSP), Object-Relational Mapping, Task Scheduling, Session Management, and many other features. Webware is very modular and easily extended. It is well proven and platform-independent. It is compatible with multiple Web servers, database servers, and operating systems.
X-Tract is an XML Script processor. XML Script is a fully XML compliant language, specifically designed for handling XML data. XML Script is more powerful than XSL, and can perform many XSL functions more efficiently. X-Tract can be used on the command line, or can be run from a web server to handle CGI queries.
