XWT is the XML Windowing Toolkit. It lets you write remote applications that run on a server, yet can "project" their user interface onto any computer, anywhere on the Internet. It can precisely match the appearance and behavior of normal desktop applications. Unlike other remote-display technologies, XWT applications are usable and responsive regardless of network congestion, delays, and even complete network failures. Visual layout is specified using a dialect of XML which is extremely similar to HTML tables, whilst interactivity is scripted in industry-standard ECMAscript (JavaScript). Existing HTML/JavaScript developers can be productive immediately with XWT.

SHORE (Semantic Hypertext Object Repository) is a hypertext repository that stores data about documents and data described by documents. Access to this information is provided as hypertext. The repository stores objects that appear in documents, together with their relations in a semantic net. Hypertext navigation follows these relations in the semantic net. The SHORE server works as an HTTP server, and the client is a standard Web browser. The repository uses PROLOG as its query language and the XSB system as its query engine.

ASCIIMathML is a script that converts calculator-style ASCII math notation (and many LaTeX formulas) to Presentation MathML while your Web page loads. It works with HTML and XHTML files in Mozilla/Firefox/Netscape 7+ browsers, as well as in Internet Explorer 6 with MathPlayer. For example, the solutions for the equation 'ax^2+bx+c=0' are expressed in the HTML file as '(-b +- sqrt(b^2 - 4ac))/(2a)', and display as nicely formatted MathML. The script can be easily used in wikiservers and blogs, as a rudimentary MathML editor (with instant preview), and to preview math formulas as they are typed into a Web page input area.

The 'expp' tool (the Epeios XML preprocessor) reads an XML file to transform it to another XML file. It simplifies the writing of XML files by allowing the handling of macros, the definition and testing of variables, the inclusion of files, and more. This is done by writing, directly in the source XML file, predefined tags owned by a given namespace, tags which are then recognized and handled by the 'expp' tool. The tool is also available as a Java native component.
