MapServer is a CGI based Web mapping application development tool. It processes user defined configuration files and templates to allow for a wide variety of applications to be developed, including interactive mapping, and spatial query definition and processing. It supports several data formats. Key features include scale dependent map rendering, automatic scalebar and legend building, feature labeling with collision avoidance, logical and thematic classifications, and on-the-fly projection of raster and vector data. The application can also access other WMS servers as a cascading map server.
PDFTextStream is a PDF text and metadata extraction library available for Java and .NET. It supports all versions of the PDF document specification (including v1.7, used by Acrobat 8, 9, and X), extraction of text encoded using double-byte character sets (including Chinese, Japanese, and Korean), decryption of documents encrypted using 40-bit, 128-bit, 256-bit, and variable bit length ciphers, and extraction of all document metadata provided by PDF documents (including form data, bookmarks, and annotations). Easy integration with Jakarta Lucene is included, as well as interactive form update capability.
FeResPost is a library that allows the rapid development of small programs for the post-processing of Nastran or Samcef finite element results. The library allows easy manipulation of finite element models, groups, and results. Efficient post-processing is possible because the time-consuming operations are written in C/C++. The library is distributed as a COM component, a .NET assembly, as well as a Ruby compiled extension.
LastFmLib.net lets you access all Web services provided by Last.fm. This also includes an implementation of the Audioscrobbler 1.2.1 submissions protocol and radio api. Also, LastFmLib.net provides a set of useful classes, e.g for caching requests and pictures and for accessing simple request easily via the LastFmClient class. The library should be fully Mono compatible (the test with MoMa was positive).
Itzam/Sharp is a C# class library for creating and manipulating keyed-access database files containing variable-length, random access records. Information is referenced by a user-defined key value; indexes may be combined with or separate from data. Itzam/Sharp implements the Itzam engine (see Itzam/Core and Itzam/Java) in 100% managed C#. At 32K, the Itzam/Sharp engine is both small and powerful, and it works with any .NET language, including F# and Visual Basic.
Vici MVC is a MVC Web application framework for .NET 2.0 or higher. It runs on the low-level ASP.NET layer provided by the .NET framework, but does not use ASP.NET WebForms and Controls. The framework is controller-centric as opposed to the view-centric architecture of ASP.NET WebForms. This allows Web applications to be built according to the MVC pattern with minimal effort. Vici MVC emphasises complete separation of concerns, ease of use, minimal configuration requirements, integration with any data access technology, performance, and easy deployment ("XCOPY deployment").
Git# is a C# implementation of the Git version control system for the .NET platform. It is meant to be fully compatible to the original Git implementation in C for Linux. It can be used as a stand-alone command line application (potentially replacing msysGit on Windows) or as a library for applications such as GUI frontends or plugins for IDEs.
PD4ML is a powerful PDF generating library that uses HTML and CSS for page layout and content definition. It allows developers to easily add PDF generation functionality to software written for the Java and .NET platforms. PD4ML is easy to deploy and does not rely on any native components. It is based on a proprietary HTML rendering engine, optimized for PDF layout generation. The rendering engine implements most standard features of HTML4/CSS2 and a number of custom PDF-generation-specific functions for pagination control, header/footer generation, watermarking, TOC generation, margin control, etc. PD4ML allows you to easily embed word processor documents, spreadsheets, and rich media content as attachments to the resulting PDF documents.
