The JACAL Project is a suite of programs, scripts, guidelines, protocols, documentation, and diskettes that assist in quick, network based loads/builds of machines. It has been used to build 70 University lab machines from scratch (No OS) in two hours. This includes NT service packs and 80+ applications on the NT side.
Lire is a pluggable log analyzer. It has analyzers for over 25 log file formats, ranging from Apache WWW log files to iptables firewall logs and CUPS printing logs. Reports are generated in 9 different output formats, ranging from Excel 95 to PDF to HTML, optionally with included graphs.
IPFC is software and a framework to monitor multiple types of agents in a heterogeneous distributed environment. Agents can implement logging of elements as diverse as packet filters (like netfilter, pf, ipfw, IP Filter, checkpoint FW1, etc.), NIDS (Snort, arpwatch, etc.), Web servers, and other general devices (from syslog-servers to embedded devices). MakeNG is a system of makefiles that, in conjuncture with a patch to GNU Make, provides a concise, extensible, logically organized and easily modified system of makefiles to build any source tree or combination of components you can envision. MakeNG sports a fully documented extensible API on top of the classic GNU Make syntax (which is great for backwards compatibility).
The Domain Server is designed to fulfill the role of a Windows NT domain controller, incorporating LDAP to server as a "Directory Server". The RH Linux Domain Controller Project is designed to function with its sister project, the RH Email Server. The goal of this series of projects is to develop 'meta-distributions' that bring together great OSS projects in an easy-to-install, easy-to-administrate manner, the desired end result being that Microsoft Administrators should be able to easily adapt and migrate to Linux without having to be a 'guru'. FrAid (Fr[actal] Aid) is a programming language that is appropriate for mathematical computations, visualization, batch processing, and more. It features both a standalone application that provides a programming environment for the language and a system for integrating the language with Java.
