This is an application to help user (mathematician) to make regression between series of data, draw grpahics, and export them into various formats by means of common graphics packages (i.e., gnuplot, plotutils). It is written in Python. The user interfeace is built upon the wxPython (wxWindows) widget set. The idea of usage is as follows: the user builds a project which is represented as a tree of modules; modules can generate data variables, as well as consume them. Essentialy, such a tree represents an algorithm of data analysis. The system is intended to educate students.
MultiVideo is an image sequence viewer that is targeted to researchers in the image processing field. It features the ability to display several sequences simultaneously in multiple synchronized views, supports many sequence formats, (including formats without compression that are very useful for researchers), displays very long image sequences without loading them in memory, and runs on multiple platforms thanks to the wxWindows library.

You can create workflow editors, BPMN, CAD tools, network diagrams, database visualization tools, and more. It is fully documented, including examples, and has an active support community.
SDE for NetBeans is a UML modeling environment tightly integrated with NetBeans. It lets you draw all types of UML diagrams (use case diagram, class diagram, sequence diagram, activity diagram, etc.) in NetBeans, reverse source code (Java, C++, XML, XML Schema, CORBA IDL, etc.) to UML models, and generate Java source from UML diagrams. It features a Rational Rose importer, an XMI importer, HTML/PDF documentation generators, and plug-in and template support.
Genomorama is a software program for interactively displaying multiple genomes. It provides a powerful yet easy to use interface that leverages the visualization power of modern computers (via OpenGL) and the substantial bioinformatic infrastructure provided by the NCBI (via the NCBI C toolkit). Genomorama is written in portable, highly optimized C++ and comes in three "flavors" that allow it to run natively on (most) modern operating systems: OS X (using Carbon), Microsoft Windows (using MFC), and Linux (using Motif). Executables and source code are freely provided for all flavors.
Veusz is a scientific plotting package, designed to create publication-ready Postscript, PDF, or SVG output. It features an easy to use graphical interface as well as a command line interface and can be scripted or embedded in Python scripts. Graphs are constructed in a modular fashion from separate components. Datasets can be interactively modified or created from within the program.
