BitTorrent is a tool for copying files from one machine to another. FTP punishes sites for being popular. Since all uploading is done from one place, a popular site needs big iron and big bandwidth. pydance is a dancing game written in Python, formerly named pyDDR. The idea is simple. There's a floor mat with arrows, and the game scrolls arrows up the screen to the beat while playing a song. When the arrows reach the top of the screen (not sooner and not later), the player hits the corresponding arrow on the pad, and given that it's hit on time with the beat, points are scored. Based on how well the dance is put together, s/he is graded at the end of the song. Both keyboard and mat play are supported.

arrayfrombuffer allows a programmer to use Numerical Python arrays whose contents are stored in buffer objects, including memory-mapped files. Loading an array from a file is easy, requiring only a module import and a single function call. Loading the array is quick because it doesn't require any copying from one part of memory to another. Arrays created with arrayfrombuffer are also highly memory-efficient, since only the array data that you are currently using gets loaded into memory. When an array is modified, only the modified parts get written back out to disk. These arrays can also be bigger than physical memory.
