LANforge is a unified multi-protocol network traffic generation and WAN emulation application. It allows users to generate real world customer traffic in a controllable manner. The WAN emulator allows the injection of latency and other network oddities like dropped, duplicated, and re-ordered packets. LANforge includes a drag-and-drop virtual network builder that supports virtual routers, WAN links, traffic-generating nodes, and more. It provides a scriptable command line interface with Perl libraries as well as a graphical user interface.
pftp allows you to send and receive files and directories recursively, send and receive standard input and ouput, filter your connection, set the net buffer size, set the bandwidth, send UDP datagrams unicasted, broadcasted, and multicasted (which is meant for AUDIO and VIDEO streaming), send data to another user and manage that data, perform a network test based on either UDP or TCP, and use optimized buffers for your Gigabit Ethernet links. pftp can start from command line, as a daemon, or by inetd. All features are supported for IPv4 and IPv6.
Sirid is a Web-based tool for managing software projects. The main features of Sirid are assigning tasks between the personnel, reporting bugs, managing specifications, and recording feature requests. The program also sends notifications of new bugs and tasks to people who have been set responsible for them, and notifies the responsible people when the deadline of some bug or task is approaching. It features graphical presentations for tracking the progress of your project. Sirid keeps you informed of the status of each of your projects, and allows you to take action if difficulties arise.
sipsak is a command line tool for performing various tests on Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) applications and devices. It can make several different tests, send the contents of a file, and interpret and react on the responses. It supports (de-) registration with given contact URIs and digest authentication.
Platform Independent Petri Net Editor (PIPE) creates and analyses Petri Nets quickly, efficiently, and effectively. A key design feature is the modular approach adopted for analysis, enabling new modules to be written easily and powerfully, using built-in data layer methods for standard calculations. Six analysis modules are provided, including Invariant Analysis, State-Space Analysis (deadlock, etc.), and Simulation Analysis and Classification. PIPE adheres to the XML Petri net standard (PNML). The file format for saving and loading Petri Nets is extensible through the use of XSLT, the default being PNML.
Schroedinger is the combination of Apache Tomcat with a nice, clean Swing GUI. It provides an easy way to create and test JSP and Servlet Web applications. It records every JSP/HTTP activity so that every possible bug can be corrected immediately. Schroedinger can be used in personal mode, which prevents others from using its JSP Server while you develop the application. Alternatively, Schroedinger's working directory can be opened via file-sharing, so that a JSP can be copied to any computer of the JSP development team.
MPI Parallel Environment (MPE) is a software package for MPI (Message Passing Interface) programmers. It provides users with a number of useful tools for their MPI programs such as a set of profiling libraries that collect information about the behavior of MPI programs, graphical trace file analyzers, serializers, type checkers, collective operations validators, etc.
