jslibs is a standalone JavaScript development environment for using JavaScript as a general-purpose scripting language. jslibs provides a set of native modules that contains various general-purpose classes and functions. Some of these modules are simple wrappers to familiar libraries such as zlib, SQLite, FastCGI, and NSPR. Other modules provide tools to enhance JavaScript programming. The jslibs distribution comes with a small standalone command-line access program (jshost) that can be used to run JavaScript files.
STPsim is an application that simulates and visualizes switches using the Spanning Tree Protocol. It features a GUI to build and control a custom network topology. A VPython frontend visualizes virtual switches and network cables in a 3D environment. To visualize STP-states, switches and ports change colors and captions in real time.
Coherence is a set of DLNA/UPnP devices, like MediaServer and MediaRenderer. In addition, it includes a well-designed framework to extend other applications with DLNA/UPnP functionality. It also has an emerging DBus API, enabling these applications to participate in digital living networks. It supports Playstation 3 (PS3), XBox, and many other devices.
