fastgps is a fully functional GPS software receiver which demonstrates all the steps performed in a GNSS navigation receiver. This receiver includes: an FFT acquisition; code and carrier tracking; pseudorange measurements; navigation data decoding; and position, velocity, and time estimation functions. The software receiver is also capable of using external aiding data from the International GNSS Service (IGS) as well as applying WAAS differential ionosphere corrections.
pHash is an implementation of various perceptual hashing algorithms. A perceptual hash is a fingerprint of a multimedia file derived from various features from its content. Unlike cryptographic hash functions that rely on the avalanche effect of small changes in input leading to drastic changes in the output, perceptual hashes are "close" to one another if the features are similar. Potential applications include copyright protection, similarity searches for media files, or even digital forensics.
Cressida SynQuest for WebSphere MQ is a highly optimized, production-strength replication and synchronization tool utilizing the MQI API exit facility. It is designed to keep the content of WMQ queues on separate queue managers synchronized by performing a MirrorQ type application. SynQuest provides a solution for maintaining disaster recovery backups of queue managers in those cases where a hardware solution (i.e. mirrored disks) is impractical due to distance or associated hardware costs.
GraphInsight is visualization software that lets you explore graph data through high quality interactive representations. Data exploration and knowledge extraction from graphs is of great interest nowadays: knowledge is disseminated in social networks, and services are powered by cloud computing platforms. Data miners deal with graphs every day. Humans are extremely good at identifying patterns and outliers. Interacting visually with your data can give you better intuition and higher confidence in what you are looking for.
PEDSIM is a microscopic pedestrian crowd simulation system. The PEDSIM library allows you to use pedestrian dynamics in your own software. Based on pure C++/STL without additional packages, it runs virtually on every operating system. The PEDSIM Demo Application gives you a quick overview of the capabilities, and is a starting point for your own experiments. PEDSIM is suitable for use in crowd simulations (e.g. indoor evacuation simulation, large scale outdoor simulations), where one is interested in output like pedestrian density or evacuation time. Since the quality of the individual agent's trajectory is high, PEDSIM can be used for creating massive pedestrian crowds in movies.
RedWolf is a security threat simulator that tests security system effectiveness. Its threat generation capabilities include email, IM, malware, P2P, social networking, VoIP, DDoS, and many more. The guiding philosophy is that by generating realistic scenarios in a wide variety of categories, an auditor or organization can assess the effectiveness of network defenses. The scenario suite allows one to verify compliance with PCI-DSS, Sarbanes-Oxley, or HIPAA controls. RedWolf helps identify data loss risks and provides expert recommendations concerning risk mitigation. It reports present findings, recommendations, best practices, and blocking guidance in a straightforward, easily readable format. RedWolf also acts as a 'Red Team' agent, running drills to measure the readiness of your operations staff.
Flynax General Classified script allows you to run your own classifieds portal. The Administration Panel will allow you to create simple or complex sites. You can build general classifieds as well as classifieds for specific categories (plants, guns, sporting goods, etc.). Form builders, categories, listings fields, plans, and other managers will help you adapt the software to your needs.
The Jacket platform consists of a runtime and language processing system that automatically optimizes existing applications or new algorithms for GPU computing. Jacket currently supports the MATLAB language as a frontend to the platform. Jacket's language processing system automatically translates MATLAB code to high performance primitives required for best utilization of Nvidia, CUDA capable GPUs. Working in concert with the translation system, Jacket's runtime system optimizes memory transfers, compiles code on-the-fly for realtime tuned performance, and launches GPU kernels efficiently for maximal performance. All GPU-specific programming details are handled by Jacket, freeing the user to focus on science, engineering, and analytics.
