DAPL (Direct Access Provider Library) is a transport-independent, platform-independent, high-performance API for using the remote direct memory access (RDMA) capabilities of modern interconnect technologies such as InfiniBand, the Virtual Interface Architecture, and iWARP. This is the reference implementation of that specification by the DAT Collaborative who maintain the DAPL API.
SolarCalc is a program for estimating the solar radiation and electrical energy yield in a given site around the world. The software has been written in Qt and uses the most recent models of solar radiation conversion by PV effects. The software can take into account many aspects of solar systems such as detailed diffuse/beam correlation models, temperature effects, and shadowing effects. The system allows you to build a user-based archive of components, like solar panels and inverters. Many printing and exporting functions are available, as well as ready-to-use PDF report export.
The Discrete Event Calculus Reasoner allows a programmer to add common-sense reasoning capabilities to programs. It supports deduction/temporal projection, abduction/planning, postdiction, and model finding. It allows default reasoning about action, change, space, and mental states. It is based on the event calculus, a comprehensive and highly usable logic-based formalism. It helps applications understand the world, make inferences, adapt to unexpected situations, and be more flexible.
