MiniPauker is a flash card based learning application for mobile devices and handhelds. It is based on the leitner cardfile system and is compatible with Pauker (http://pauker.sf.net, the desktop version of this software). MiniPauker uses a combination of ultra-shortterm, shortterm, and longterm memory. You can use it to learn all the things you never want to forget any more, like vocabulary, capitals, and important dates.
Navlet is a navigation system for mobile devices such as PDAs, smart phones, and cell phones. It retrieves positioning data from any NMEA capable GPS receiver and displays the position on a digital map. External GPS receivers can be connected via a serial cable or Bluetooth. If your mobile device is connected to the Internet, it can download maps from a map server, or alternative use locally stored maps. It is also able to send the GPS data to a server via an HTTP connection.
Escluderlate is a Java game for mobiles and portable devices (J2ME). The scope is surviving inside the arena more than the computer controlled opponent(s). You have to avoid crashing on the walls that each player leaves behind. You can move your pointer using the arrows, or the keys 2(up), 4(left), 6(right), and 8(down). Escluderlate contains 21 different levels and 3 different speeds, but it's easily extendable.
Spring ME is a version of ME that not only runs on your cell phone, but also on any other Java platform not supporting reflection. It is to Java ME what Spring is to Java SE and Java EE, which is indicated by the name. However, the "ME" (Micro Edition) suffix not only refers to the platform it supports. It also refers to the size of the runtime, which is pretty minimal. In fact, it's pretty much non-existent, and therefore ideal for situations in which you cannot afford the sheer size of the traditional Spring runtime.
