Sdictionary is a dictionary that uses its own dictionary format. Unlike ptkdic or gtkdic, MySQL isn't needed; you can work with dictionary files directly. It uses Unicode, meaning that words and articles all are in UTF-8. There are two index levels, compression, and tools to convert from text files to .dct and vice versa. A Perl/Tk version, libsdict, a C library framework, and a Symbian version are available.

It creates all your thumbnails (including directory thumbnails) and descends into directories so you can organize your photos. Ora2Pg is a Perl module to export an Oracle database schema to a PostgreSQL compatible schema. It connects your Oracle database, extracts its structure, and generates an SQL script that you can load into your PostgreSQL database. It dumps the database schema (tables, views, sequences, indexes, grants) with primary, unique, and foreign keys into PostgreSQL syntax without editing the SQL code generated. It also dump Oracle data into PostgreSQL DB as online process or into a file. You can choose what columns can be exported for each table.

git-info-bar is a ksh, bash, gitbash, and Git shell plugin that endeavors to provide a fast and pronounced view of various git attributes when you are under the umbrella of a git repository. Its main feature, the 'info bar' (information bar), displays the following information: current branch (in 'red' if on master); current cksum (in 'red' if there are uncommitted changes, and an 'uncommitted changes' message in the message area); and stash count in the message area if you have stashes. It includes an install script and removal scripts. It is currently only tested in Bash, GitBash and ksh93. It was previously named 'bash-git', but the name has been transitioned to 'git-info-bar', as a long-term goal is cross-shell compatibility using a Perl back-end.

XML-Grammar-Fiction is a Perl package that provides processors for lightweight markup languages and corresponding XML grammars for writing prose (e.g. stories, novels, and novellas) as well as screenplays. The XML grammars can in turn be translated to XHTML and DocBook/XML. XML-Grammar-Fiction currently offers only very basic functionality, but has good support for UTF-8 and allows one to write bidirectional texts conveniently. It is still under development and may exhibit some quirks.

SQL::Yapp is a Perl module which embeds SQL completely into Perl. It checks SQL syntax at compile time and fully parses SQL to allow usage of any Perl scalars, arrays, and hashes in an intuitive and safe way. It makes SQL injections virtually impossible while making you feel as if SQL syntax were native to Perl.
