MatrixSSL is an embedded SSL and TLS implementation designed for small footprint devices and applications requiring low overhead per connection. The library is less than 50K on disk with cipher suites. It includes SSL and TLS client and server support, session resumption, and implementations of RSA, AES, 3DES, ARC4, SHA1, and MD5. The source is well documented and contains portability layers for additional operating systems, cipher suites, and cryptography providers.
The POCO C++ Libraries are a collection of class libraries for developing network-centric, portable applications in C++. The classes integrate perfectly with the C++ Standard Library and cover functionality like threads, thread synchronization, filesystem access, streams, shared libraries and class loading, sockets and network protocols (HTTP, FTP, SMTP, etc.), including an HTTP server, as well as an XML parser with SAX2 and DOM interfaces and SQL database access.
Nesla is a complete object-based scripting language written in just a few thousand lines of ANSI C. It's portable, thread-safe, flexible, embeddable, expandable, and easy to understand (as a language and as an API). Nesla scripts can and often do look very much like JavaScript, but Nesla is Not an ECMA Scripting Language.
nMicrocoder is an ncurses EDA tool to write microcode. Basically, it is a stripped down spreadsheet program that lets you fill a table with "0", "1", and "-", and gives you compile-ready verilog code in return. It was written as an alternative to full spreadsheet programs. It is known to run on Linux, IRIX, and Solaris, unless ncurses 5.3 is installed.
