UProxy is a proxy for UDP protocols. UProxy was initially designed to allow users to play Unreal Tournament matches over the Internet on computers sharing a dial up connection. It could also be used by any client-server application that uses the UDP protocol and doesn't require clients to bind a fixed port. UProxy should run under Windows, Linux, or any OS which supports BSD sockets.
Roman Numeral Conversion API performs Roman numeral conversions and formats date data using Roman numerals and Latin. The romandate command is similar to the standard Unix date command. The romannum command provides command line conversion to and from Roman numerals. Libroman contains the functions roman_ctime(), roman_asctime(), and roman_strftime(). These functions provide the same functionality as ctime(), asctime(), and strftime() using Roman numerals to generate the strings.
Championship Generator produces a list of all the meetings which must occur between the participants of a championship. It can be used to produce the challenges between teams if competitions are not foreseen to directed elimination. It supports championships where it is necessary to consider the matches at home and away. It can also try to avoid fights between the big teams in the first and last days. It also supports the case in which two teams have a mutual stadium, and therefore cannot simultaneously play at home or away.
Office Tournament is a tool for keeping track of office tournaments, such as foosball. You may enter data from the command line or from the CGI Web interface. It outputs all kinds of stats and even a nice chart if you use the Imager::Graph::Pie Perl library available from CPAN. It currently requires no database to run, but there are plans to migrate the text (flat file db) to MySQL.
Shadowed Horizons is a collection of classes and utilities that form a gaming software development kit. The aim of the project is to spare programmers the need to perform countless mundane or repetitive tasks in writing their games. When complete, this software will be a generalized framework for computer games of any type.
