Excelsior JET is a Java VM enhanced with an Ahead-Of-Time (AOT) compiler and deployment toolkit. It is certified Java Compatible on Windows and Linux on Intel x86 hardware. The 64-bit version is in the works. Excelsior JET Optimizer transforms your classes and JARs into high-performance binary executables. Excelsior JET Runtime includes a licensed Sun implementation of the Java API and Excelsior's proprietary JVM, which is responsible for Java memory management, threading, synchronization, security, and JIT compilation of classes that could not be precompiled. The Excelsior JET Installation Toolkit makes it possible to prepare your optimized application for deployment to end-user systems.
U++ is a C++ cross-platform rapid application development suite focused on programmers' productivity without sacrificing runtime performance. Based on strictly deterministic design, it provides a viable alternative to garbage-collected platforms, even for business logic oriented problems.
Scilab is a numerical computation system similiar to Matlab or Simulink. Scilab includes hundreds of mathematical functions, and programs from various languages (such as C or Fortran) can be added interactively. It has sophisticated data structures (including lists, polynomials, rational functions, and linear systems), an interpreter, and a high-level programming language. Scilab has been designed to be an open system where the user can define new data types and operations on these data types by using overloading. A number of toolboxes are available with the system.
Styx is a scanner/parser generator designed to address some shortcomings of the traditional lex/yacc combination. It has unique features like automatic derivation of depth grammar, production of the derivation tree, including it's C interface, preservation of full source information, pretty printing to faciliate source-source translation, and persistence to aid rapid interpreter writing. It also supports reentrancy. Styx works well under several different OSes, including serveral Unixes, DOS, and Windows.
CLIP is a Clipper/XBase compatible compiler with initial support other xBase dialects. It features support for international languages and character sets. It also features OOP, a multiplatform GUI based on GTK/GTKextra, all SIX/Comix features (including hypertext indexing), SQL and ODBC drivers, a C-API for third-party developers, a few wrappers for popular libraries (such as BZIP, GZIP, GD, Crypto, and Fcgi), a multitasking client and application server based on TCP/IP sockets, object data base utilities, and a functions library.
Flat Assembler is a fast and efficient self-assembling 80x86 assembler. It supports x86 and x86-64 instruction sets with MMX, 3DNow!, SSE up to SSE4, AVX, AVX2, and XOP extensions. It can produce output in binary, MZ, PE, COFF, or ELF format. It includes powerful but easy-to-use macroinstruction support and does multiple passes to optimize the instruction codes for size. It is written entirely in assembly language.
Aubit 4GL compiler is a programming language based on (and compatible with) Informix-4GL. It provides an easy way to generate screen/form based programs, since statements for handling Windows, Forms, Menus, SQL, and similar are built-in. With support for SQL statements forming an intrinsic part of the language, it's especially suitable for developing database-oriented applications. Database connectivity is provided for PostgreSQL, MySQL, Informix, and others via ODBC. It supports both ncurses (console mode) and GTK+ (GUI mode) output.
PHPCoder is a Web-based frontend to the Turck MMCache encoding functions, which are similar to the Zend Encoder product. PHPCoder enables you to encode your PHP scripts and applications into non-reversible bytecode, thus preventing users of your programs from viewing or altering the source code while having full functionality. Another excellent use for PHPCoder is to encode your applications PHP configuration files, that way someone viewing your source code does not see your databae login and password information. It also allows you to set restrictions on the encoded scripts, you can lock a script to a particular server IP address, server host name, visitor IP, or even place a time limit on the script so it will expire after a configurable amount of time. You specify Text, HTML, or PHP code that should be prepended and appended to each file before it is encoded, allowing you to easily and securely implement your own licensing scheme.
Yasm is a complete rewrite of the NASM assembler. It currently supports the x86 and AMD64 instruction sets, accepts NASM and GAS assembler syntaxes, outputs binary, ELF32, ELF64, COFF, Mach-O (32 and 64), RDOFF2, Win32, and Win64 object formats, and generates source debugging information in STABS, DWARF 2, and CodeView 8 formats.
SmartEiffel is the GNU Eiffel Compiler. It is intended to be a complete, though small and very fast, Eiffel compiler. The current distribution includes an Eiffel to C compiler, documentation tools, a pretty printer, and various other tools including an Eiffel debugger. It also includes a large library of classes distributed under the terms of the MIT/X Consortium License. Eiffel is an advanced object-oriented programming language that emphasizes the design and construction of high-quality and reusable software.
