CLIP is a Clipper/XBase compatible compiler with initial support other xBase dialects. It features support for international languages and character sets. It also features OOP, a multiplatform GUI based on GTK/GTKextra, all SIX/Comix features (including hypertext indexing), SQL and ODBC drivers, a C-API for third-party developers, a few wrappers for popular libraries (such as BZIP, GZIP, GD, Crypto, and Fcgi), a multitasking client and application server based on TCP/IP sockets, object data base utilities, and a functions library.

The XDS product line facilitates software development in the Modula-2 and Oberon-2 languages. It includes native compilers for Intel x86 and "via C" cross-compilers that produce ANSI C source, allowing you to target virtually any platform. The TopSpeed Compatibility Pack add-on aids porting programs written in the TopSpeed Modula-2 dialect to XDS.
Oberon2 is a simple and safe object-oriented language created by N.Wirth, the author of Pascal and Modula2. It is statically strongly typed and has garbage collection. Most of good ideas incorporated in design of Java were in Oberon2 long before. OOC is an open source project to produce a family of optimizing Oberon2 compilers. The compiler with an ANSI C back-end, oo2c, is quite mature, and provides a complete and convenient Oberon2 development environment. It comes with a rather comprehensive standard library, Code Navigator, and an Emacs mode. It is easy to call C functions and libraries from Oberon2.
