NoMachine NX is a fast terminal server and desktop virtualization system based on the X11 protocol. NX is an order of magnitude faster than VNC or X11 and can run on bandwidth as narrow as 10 kBit/sec. In addition, NX translates and embeds the MS Windows Terminal Server and VNC protocols into X/NX, enabling users to compress and accelerate remote Windows and VNC sessions. It provides a graphical interface allowing you to designate URLs, data elements to be extracted, and scripting logic to traverse pages and work with scraped data. Once these items have been created, screen-scraper can be invoked from external languages such as .NET, Java, PHP, and Active Server Pages. The 'expp' tool (the Epeios XML preprocessor) reads an XML file to transform it to another XML file. It simplifies the writing of XML files by allowing the handling of macros, the definition and testing of variables, the inclusion of files, and more. This is done by writing, directly in the source XML file, predefined tags owned by a given namespace, tags which are then recognized and handled by the 'expp' tool. The tool is also available as a Java native component.
