The Domain Server is designed to fulfill the role of a Windows NT domain controller, incorporating LDAP to server as a "Directory Server". The RH Linux Domain Controller Project is designed to function with its sister project, the RH Email Server. The goal of this series of projects is to develop 'meta-distributions' that bring together great OSS projects in an easy-to-install, easy-to-administrate manner, the desired end result being that Microsoft Administrators should be able to easily adapt and migrate to Linux without having to be a 'guru'. The collection of projects will aim to match specific Microsoft products (Exchange Server, etc.) in functionality. Current versions include user and group administration as well as migration tools.
