oXygen is an XML editor that supports any XML document, and works with XML Schemas, DTDs, Relax NG schemas, and NRL Schemas. It has powerful transformation support that allows you to edit XSLT and XSL-FO documents and to obtain documents in the desired output format (such as HTML, PS, or PDF) with just one click. It also includes a complete Subversion client, support for flattening XML Schemata, an XML Schema instance generator, integration with the X-Hive/DB, MarkLogic and TigerLogic XML databases, editing actions on the diagram, and a rename refactoring action.
The cb2Bib is a tool for rapidly extracting bibliographic references from email alerts, journal Web pages, and PDF files. It facilitates the capture of single references from unformatted and non standard sources. Output references are written in BibTeX. Article files can be easily linked and renamed by dragging them onto the cb2Bib window. Additionally, it permits editing and browsing BibTeX files, citing references, searching references and the full contents of the referenced documents, inserting bibliographic metadata to documents, and writing short notes that interrelate several references.

The 'expp' tool (the Epeios XML preprocessor) reads an XML file to transform it to another XML file. It simplifies the writing of XML files by allowing the handling of macros, the definition and testing of variables, the inclusion of files, and more. This is done by writing, directly in the source XML file, predefined tags owned by a given namespace, tags which are then recognized and handled by the 'expp' tool. The tool is also available as a Java native component.
X-Hive/DB is a powerful native XML database designed for software developers who require advanced XML data processing and storage functionality within their applications. The comprehensive X-Hive/DB Java API contains methods for storing, querying, retrieving, transforming, and publishing XML data. X-Hive/DB supports all major W3C standards, such as XQuery, XPath, DOM, XPointer, XML Schemas, and more.
AntFlow builds upon Apache Ant to provide a new approach to simplifying system automation that uses pipelines of hot folders chained together to perform a given task. Using XML, it associates an automated task such as data transfer, encryption, or XML processing with a directory on the local system. Whenever a file is copied or written into the hot folder, the associated task is executed and the file is moved to the next hot folder in the pipeline for further processing.
XMLToaster is a tool for extracting and loading XML from databases. It provides a modified version of SQL which has XML mapping extenstions. It can be compared to the "for xml" command in MS SQL Server 2008, but it runs on all common databases and scales to handle very large XML mappings without too much complexity. It is used as a Java library to write XML interfaces, but can also be run as a command line tool.
