omnisode.rb, preodein.rb, and preindent.rb are a set of Ruby programs to generate a program to use long Taylor series to solve systems of ordinary differential equations. It generates code to solve the equations in either C, C++, Ruby, Maple, or Maxima. Using the Taylor series, estimates are made of the location of poles.

Fix8 is a modern open source C++ FIX framework featuring complete schema driven customisation, high performance, and fast application development. The system is comprised of a compiler for generating C++ message and field encoders, decoders, and instantiation tables, a runtime library to support the generated code and framework, and a set of complete client/server test applications. For the same message, Fix8 encodes 3.2 times faster and decodes 2.3 times faster than Quickfix, an average of 2.7 times. In other words, it reduces encode latency by 69% and reduces decode latency by 56%.

Netzob supports the expert in reverse engineering, evaluation, and simulation of communication protocols. Its main goals are to help security evaluators to assess the robustness of proprietary or unknown protocol implementations, simulate realistic communications to test third-party products (IDS, firewalls, etc.), and create an Open Source implementation of a proprietary or unknown protocol. Netzob provides a semi-automatic inferring process, and includes everything necessary to passively learn the vocabulary of a protocol and actively infer its grammar. The learnt protocol can afterward be simulated. Netzob handles text protocols (like HTTP and IRC), fixed field protocols (like IP and TCP), and variable field protocols (like ASN.1-based formats).

javaXUL provides a simple to use XUL implementation, including CSS and JavaScript capabilities, for use in Java projects. Some uses include the embedding of an XUL stack in a Java browser and using XUL as a UI language in Java applications, including the ability to communicate with Java. It is not intended to compete with much more complete RIA offerings such as Flash, Silverlight, or javaFX. Instead it tries to leverage the expressivity of XUL in the Java development area. Compatibility with Mozilla XUL (such as the Firefox implementation) is a goal.
