ServingXML is a markup language for expressing XML pipelines and an extensible Java framework for defining the elements of the language. It defines a vocabulary for expressing flat-XML, XML-flat, flat-flat, and XML-XML transformations in pipelines. The accompanying console app supports reading content as XML files, flat files, SQL queries, or SAX events, and writing it as XML, HTML, PDF, or mail attachments. This software is especially suited for converting flat file or database records to XML, with its support for namespaces, variant record types, multi-valued fields, segments and repeating groups, hierarchical grouping of records, and row-by-row validation with XML Schema. There is also an API for embedding the software in a Java application.
Citrus is a test framework written in Java that enables automated integration testing of message-based enterprise SOA applications. The tool can easily simulate surrounding systems across various transports and protocols (e.g. JMS, SOAP WebServices, HTTP, TCP/IP, etc.) in order to perform end-to-end use case testing. Citrus provides strong validation mechanisms for XML message contents and allows you to build complex testing logic such as sending and receiving messages, database validation, automatic retries, variable definitions, dynamic message contents, error simulation, and many more.
Zorba is a general-purpose XQuery processor implementing in C++ the W3C family of specifications. It is not an XML database. The query processor has been designed to be embeddable in a variety of environments, such as other programming languages extended with XML processing capabilities, browsers, database servers, XML message dispatchers, or smartphones. Its architecture employes a modular design, which allows customizing the Zorba query processor to the environment’s needs. In particular, the architecture of the query processor allows a pluggable XML store (e.g. main memory, DOM stores, persistent disk-based large stores, and S3 stores).
jSmaTeP assists in the use of Java for processing import and export data by configuring a data structure rather than by programming it. The structure of the import data is specified in an XML file. jSmaTeP then generates a value object representing exactly one row or record in the import file based on a given XML data configuration. This means that if the import or export format changes, only the XML data configuration needs to be changed to match it.
LabKey Server is open source software that helps scientists manage, analyze, and share complex datasets. It supports tandem mass spectrometry, flow cytometry, assays for neutralizing antibodies, Luminex, observational studies, and secure, Web-based collaboration. The software is modular, configurable, and customizable. It can be installed in your institution on any modern hardware and operating system. It is designed to integrate with your existing systems, instruments, and work flows, and to be readily adapted by skilled programmers to novel methods of inquiry. The project is under active development by a team of professional software engineers and a community of active contributors. New versions are released about four times per year.
WSO2 Web Services Framework for PHP is a PHP extension for providing and consuming Web services. WSO2 WSF/PHP supports SOAP 1.1, SOAP 1.2, WSDL generation, WSDL mode (WSDL 1.1 and WSDL 2.0), REST style invocation, integrated Data Services capabilities, and some of the key WS-* stack specifications such as: SOAP MTOM, WS-Addressing, WS-Security, WS-SecurityPolicy, and WS-ReliableMessaging.
WSO2 Web Services Framework for C is a standards compliant, enterprise grade, C library for providing and consuming Web services. WSO2 WSF/C is a complete solution for building and deploying Web services, and implements a very wide range of WS-* specifications, including MTOM, WS-Addressing, WS-Policy, WS-Security, WS-SecurityPolicy, WS-Reliable Messaging, and WS-eventing. All the Web services specification implementations are tested for interoperability with Microsoft .NET, WSO2 WSAS, and other J2EE implementations.
The Chameleon Problem Solving Environment is based on the CPACS data format and allows third party application coupling for multidisciplinary simulation. It comprises a set of libraries and integration components for the commercial integration environment ModelCenter or the open source alternative RCE (http://www.rcenvironment.de/). It was initially developed from the German Aerospace Center (DLR).
