Citrus is a test framework written in Java that enables automated integration testing of message-based enterprise SOA applications. The tool can easily simulate surrounding systems across various transports and protocols (e.g. JMS, SOAP WebServices, HTTP, TCP/IP, etc.) in order to perform end-to-end use case testing. Citrus provides strong validation mechanisms for XML message contents and allows you to build complex testing logic such as sending and receiving messages, database validation, automatic retries, variable definitions, dynamic message contents, error simulation, and many more.
EARL is an HTTP tunneling proxy. It uses the POST method to transfer data. Since its datagrams are serialized objects, the traffic overhead is rather large. The datagrams are encrypted using AES to provide privacy and obfuscation to proxy maintainers. Inbound and outbound connections are possible. It is recommended to combine it with SOCKS proxies for a comfortable setup.
Forban is a P2P file sharing application for link-local and local area networks. Forban works independently from the Internet and uses only the local area capabilities to announce, discover, search, or share files. Forban relies on HTTP and is opportunistic, meaning that it replicates any files of interest seen in its proximity. The Forban protocols are minimalistic to ease the production of other implementations.
JFileUpload is a Java applet that allows uploading of files and folders to any Web or FTP server. This component can be integrated into any application, whether the server-side technology is JSP/Servlet, PHP, Coldfusion, CGI, or Microsoft ASP. The front-end provides an upload progress bar, a cancel button, and drag-and-drop support. JFileUpload supports very large uploads over 2GB and can resume broken uploads. WAWAS is a full PHP application server. The main server core listens to any IP/port and passes data to any mounted protocol on the listener. Implemented protocols are HTTP1.1/1.0, Comet, Telnet, DNS, mail, and FTP. Each protocol runs modules that build response data based on the requests. Memory object persistence allows data and caches to be shared across protocols or time. All configuration uses XML. It can be launched as a daemon, with or without forked workers, and is nearly as fast as Apache in preliminary tests.

Jmx4Perl provides an alternate way of accessing Java JEE Server management interfaces that are based on JMX (Java Management Extensions). It is an agent-based approach where a small Web application deployed on the application server provides HTTP/JSON-based access to JMX MBeans registered within the application server. It is set up from a handful of Perl modules, which can be integrated seamlessly in your own programs. It also includes a Nagios plugin, check_jmx4perl, a jmx4perl command line tool for remote JMX queries and operations, and a readline-based JMX shell j4psh, with context sensitive command completion and syntax highlighting.
