AWeather is a real-time weather data viewer designed for weather enthusiasts. AWeather is not a weather widget/dockapp that displays a pre-computed forecast. It is designed to be an easy to use program that integrates a variety of meteorological data in a simple unified interface. Currently, AWeather only displays data provided by the United States National Weather Service.
Aciqra is a night sky simulator to show the sky and celestial objects. It uses the highly precise Aloac program to calculate highly accurate positions for planets, stars, comets, and everything else in the sky for thousands of years into the future. It can load a variety of catalogs and even custom ones with a bit of extension.
Arx Libertatis is a cross-platform, open source port of Arx Fatalis, a 2002 first-person role-playing game developed by Arkane Studios. Arx Fatalis features crafting, melee and ranged combat, and a unique casting system where the player draws runes in real time to effect the desired spell. The Arx Libertatis source code is based on the publicly released Arx Fatalis sources. This does however not include the game data, so you need to obtain a copy of the original Arx Fatalis or its demo.
Avoision is a very simple arcade-style game. There's no story, no fancy graphics, no campaigns--just frantic, high-speed gameplay. Gameplay consists of moving a green block around with the arrow keys. The goal is to capture the red block before the timer runs out to score points. You must avoid all the white blocks that appear as you progress through the game.
Construder is a 3D game featuring a dynamic infinite world of cubes to explore and change. In an artificial infinite structure, the player has to gather resources for construction purposes and for basic survival. Its 3D engine and basic game play are inspired by Minecraft and Infiniminer. The goal is to get 10,000,000 score points and get the "Construder" rank. Dangers the player might run into are starvation, as all actions require biological energy, and the randomly appearing robot drones that teleport the player far away. The game is feature complete and ready to play.
Cretan Hubris is an infinite maze escape game set in ancient Greece. Dandelion is a 3D graph rendering application which can be controlled across a network. Its main purpose is to allow clear network graphs to be rendered in a window, which can be controlled by a separate application or the user. The Dandelion visualization is actually controlled by issuing simple commands to it across the network (although this could all be happening on a single machine). The Dandelion source includes a set of very simple libraries which can be incorporated into other applications and which can be used to send these commands. Libraries are included for C, C#, Java, and Python. The project was developed at Liverpool John Moores University within the PROTECT Centre.
The Ecere SDK is a cross-platform toolkit for building software applications. It currently runs on Windows, Linux, Mac OS X (through X11), FreeBSD, and the Android OS. It should run on other Unix platforms with minor testing/tweaking. With the Ecere SDK, you can develop applications once and deploy them on all supported platforms alongside a lightweight runtime environment. It introduces eC, an object oriented language derived from and fully compatible with C, compromising neither runtime performance nor ease of use. A built-in 3D engine supporting both Direct3D and OpenGL is fully integrated.
