Allegro Common Lisp is a full ANSI Common Lisp (1994) implementation. It contains many extensions, including 32- and 64-bit native compilation, efficient built-in memory management, foreign functions (for interfacing with other languages), multiprocessing, UNICODE and locale support, XML/HTML parsers, a Web client and server, GTK+ interface (1.2 and 2.0), Java interface, OLE interface (Windows only), profiler, regular expressions, an XML RPC implementation, native Lisp RPC, sockets, DLL and shared library support, and more.
BMDFM allows one to run an application in parallel on shared memory multiprocessor (SMP) systems. BMDFM automatically identifies and executes all parallelism of unparallelized programs due to the static and mainly dynamic scheduling of the data flow instruction sequences derived from the formerly sequential program. BMDFM's dynamic scheduling subsystem performs an efficient SMP emulation of Tagged-Token DFM to provide the transparent dataflow semantics for the applications. No directives for parallel execution are required. No highly knowledgeable parallel programmers are required.
BRL-CAD is a powerful constructive solid geometry solid modeling system that includes an interactive geometry editor, ray-tracing support for rendering and geometric analysis, path-tracing for realistic image synthesis, network distributed framebuffer support, and image and signal-processing tools.
C Scripting Language (CSL) is an embeddable scripting language with C syntax. A comprehensive set of libraries is included in the base package, and writing your own libraries is possible with an easy API for C programs, as well as a class interface for C++ programs. If you are looking for a compact and powerful scripting engine for your application, CSL might be the choice.
CGI::Application is a Perl framework intended to make it easier to create sophisticated, reusable Web-based applications. This module implements a methodology which can make Web software easier to design, easier to document, easier to write, and easier to evolve. CGI::Application builds on standard, non-proprietary technologies and techniques, such as the Common Gateway Interface and Lincoln D. Stein's excellent CGI.pm module. CGI::Application judiciously avoids employing technologies and techniques which would bind a developer to any one set of tools, operating system, or Web server.
CMake is a cross-platform, open-source build system. It is used to control the software compilation process using simple platform and compiler independent configuration files. It generates native makefiles and workspaces that can be used in the compiler environment of your choice. CMake is quite sophisticated: it is possible to support complex environments requiring system configuration, pre-processor generation, and code generation.
Cactus is a general, modular, parallel environment for solving systems of partial differential equations. The code has been developed over many years by a large international collaboration of numerical relativity and computational science research groups and can be used to provide a portable platform for solving any system of partial differential equations.
ChemApp is a programming tool from the area of computational thermochemistry. It is a library consisting of a rich set of subroutines, based on the thermodynamic phase equilibrium calculation module of ChemSage. It permits the calculation of complex, multicomponent, multiphase chemical equilibria and their associated energy balances. ChemApp is available as object code for a wide range of platforms and as a shared library/DLL. ChemApp "light" is the free version of ChemApp, and although it is restricted in two ways compared to the regular version, it gives you almost the same functionality.
CodeBase is a high-speed xBASE compatible database engine for C/C++, Visual Basic, Delphi & Java programmers. You can use CodeBase to write high performance database applications that are multi-user compatible with FoxPro, dBASE and Clipper, create anything from a Java applet to a full-blown Windows database application to a simple DOS utility, write scalable applications that can be deployed as single-user, multi-user or client/server, all without changing any of your source code, and port your applications to Windows, DOS, UNIX, OS/2, and Macintosh. There's a free 30-Day Test Drive option available. CodeBase is available for every major operating system including Windows XP, 2000, 9x, NT, CE, DOS, OS/2, Macintosh, and a variety of Linux and UNIX platforms including Solaris, SunOS, HP/UX, AIX, SCO, and others.
A tool for breaking encryption of Microsoft Excel and Word 97/2000/XP/2002/2003 documents.
