ACFTools is a utility for manipulating X-Plane flight simulator aircraft and weapon models without using its Plane Maker. It can decode both Apple and Intel ACF/WPN formats into plain text files with a syntax similar to C, which can be edited and then re-converted into binary data. It is able to extract almost complete 3D models of aircraft (fuselage, floats, tanks, wings, stabs, propellers, engines) and write it in AC3D modeler format. Edited 3D parts can then be merged into plain text and consequently converted into binary ACF files.
Algraeph is a tool for manual alignment of linguistic graphs, such as phrase structure trees or dependency structures, where each node corresponds to a subsequence of the analyzed input sentence. It allows you to express the similarity between two graphs by aligning their nodes and attaching relation labels to these alignments. Graphs are read from one or more graphbanks (or treebanks) in the GraphML or Alpino formats. Alignment relations are user-defined and are stored in a simple XML format, which can be used for further processing. The resulting parallel graph corpus is a useful data set for many tasks in computational linguistics and natural language processing.
AntiCutAndPaste is designed to search for text fragments that have been copied and pasted in programming language source code or plain text. It has been tested on sources from large C++, Pascal, Java, and C# (Mono) projects. The algorithms used are very fast and can handle up to three million C++ code lines in one minute. Minor modifications of code are ignored during the search. Reports are sorted conveniently by the total size of all similar fragments and there are many report customization options.
Apertium is a machine translation platform, initially aimed at related-language pairs, but recently expanded to deal with more divergent language pairs (such as English-Catalan). The platform provides a language-independent machine translation engine, tools to manage the linguistic data necessary to build a machine translation system for a given language pair, and linguistic data for a growing number of language pairs.
Biaroza is a multi-dictionary system for human languages which aims to set a standard on such type of software. It works internally (and externally if you want so) in UTF-8. The software itself supports querying by particles, customizable in/out filtering, and interface mode (for using with another software) among other features.
Ciao is a complete Prolog system subsuming ISO-Prolog with a novel modular design which allows both restricting and extending the language. Ciao extensions currently include feature terms (records), higher-order, functions, constraints, objects, persistent predicates, a good base for distributed execution (agents), and concurrency. Libraries also support WWW programming, sockets, and external interfaces (C, Java, TCL/Tk, relational databases, etc.). An Emacs-based environment, a stand-alone compiler, and a toplevel shell are also provided.
