ACFTools is a utility for manipulating X-Plane flight simulator aircraft and weapon models without using its Plane Maker. It can decode both Apple and Intel ACF/WPN formats into plain text files with a syntax similar to C, which can be edited and then re-converted into binary data. It is able to extract almost complete 3D models of aircraft (fuselage, floats, tanks, wings, stabs, propellers, engines) and write it in AC3D modeler format. Edited 3D parts can then be merged into plain text and consequently converted into binary ACF files.
Af-Arch is an N-tier development framework to quickly build high-quality distributed applications. It currently supports C and C# programming languages, which enables you to write client applications using them. It currently runs on GNU/Linux and Microsoft Windows, and is being used in production environments.
'App' is a preprocessor for C++ that accepts as input arbitrary C++ code that may contain embedded constructs for specifying algebraic data types and associated pattern matching operations, and produces as output the same code with all such constructs translated to normal C++. What app essentially does is provide for C++ pretty much the same capabilities that functional languages have regarding algebraic types. 'Applib' is the associated runtime library that supports the core run time requirements of the translated code, and which provides additional utilities (applib is covered by the LGPL).
AppLogger is a library that allows an application programmer to provide run-time customizable output from an application. It includes a function, applogger_log(), with calling semantics analogous to the standard C library's printf(), but with extra arguments to specify a classification for the output message. Calls to applogger_log() thus specify the classification and text of a message; calls to other functions in the AppLogger library determine the real-time policy applogger_log() applies to messages of a given classification: print to file, send over a network socket, ignore the message, etc. In short, AppLogger allows for the separation of message content and message output policy in an application.
AqBanking is a modular and generic interface to online banking tasks, financial file formats (import/export), and bank/country/currency information. AqBanking uses backend plugins to actually perform the online tasks. HBCI, OFX DirectConnect, and EBICS are currently supported. AqBanking is used by GnuCash, KMyMoney, Pecunia, AqBanking-CLI, and QBankManager.
Argyll is an ICC compatible color management system. It supports accurate ICC profile creation for scanners, CMYK printers, and film recorders, and calibration and profiling of displays. Spectral sample data is supported, allowing a selection of illuminants observer types, and paper fluorescent whitener additive compensation. Profiles can also incorporate source specific gamut mappings for perceptual and saturation intents. Gamut mapping and profile linking uses the CIECAM02 appearance model, a unique gamut mapping algorithm, and a wide selection of rendering intents. It also includes code for a fast 8-bit raster color conversion engine as well as support for fast, fully accurate 16-bit conversion. Device color gamuts can also be viewed and compared using a VRML viewer.
Asynchronous DNS Resolver for Haskell is a library that provides an asynchronous DNS resolver on top of GNU ADNS. Not all options are supported, but A, MX, and PTR lookups work nicely. There is also support for retrieving generic RR types, CNAMEs, and for NSEC zone walking. The library can be expected to work with fine ADNS 1.4 or later. It might also work with version ADNS 1.3, but that hasn’t been tested.
BALLView is an extensible viewer for bio-molecular structures. It provides all standard models and offers rich functionality for molecular modeling and simulation, including molecular mechanics methods (AMBER, CHARMM, and MMFF94 force fields), continuum electrostatics methods employing a Finite-Difference Poisson Boltzmann solver, secondary structure calculation, molecular editing and docking. Since BALLView is based on BALL (the Biochemical ALgorithms Library), it is easily extensible on the level of C++ code. In addition, it provides a Python interface with Integrated Development Environment features to allow interactive rapid prototyping.
