ACFTools is a utility for manipulating X-Plane flight simulator aircraft and weapon models without using its Plane Maker. It can decode both Apple and Intel ACF/WPN formats into plain text files with a syntax similar to C, which can be edited and then re-converted into binary data. It is able to extract almost complete 3D models of aircraft (fuselage, floats, tanks, wings, stabs, propellers, engines) and write it in AC3D modeler format. Edited 3D parts can then be merged into plain text and consequently converted into binary ACF files.
The Alamin GSM SMS Gateway is a group of daemons that allows you to send/receive SMS messages from any GSM device that supports AT+ commands (GSM modems or GSM mobile phones) or supported by Gnokii. A client program allows you to send messages from any IP client. An SMTP interface is provided to allow MTAs to send SMS directly to the GSM network. IMP (Incoming Message Processor) modules allows you to extend functionality to implement banking, network administration, bd querys, etc. from a GSM mobile phone.
Autodl2 is a simple to manage and extensible file transfer system that can be configured simply using a configuration file. The system is designed to be lightweight and handle multiple file transfer protocols. Currently only SFTP is supported, though other systems can be added via a plugin system.
Build Folio generates Web pages that lets the user navigate a set of files and directories. It is very good at generating thumbnailed indexes of directories containing a lot of images. The way the Web pages are generated can be controlled via configuration files. The program is built as a Perl 5 script which by default calls the Tk package to provide a graphical front end. Originally developed on a PC running Windows, it should be able to run anywhere.
Config::Maker takes a file with data in simple hierarchical format (similar to BIND and DHCP configuration files) and several templates, and produces the text by filling in the values. It is mainly useful for creating related configuration files. It can be used to generate firewall configuration scripts, DNS zone files, DHCP configuration files, a reference from a single file with all users and machines, etc. It's useful when you are not satisfied with keeping information synchronized in several places, but don't want something as complex as cfengine. Snippets of Perl can be used if all else fails.
CsvMail is an HTML form mailer and manager. It mails the results of form submissions and also writes the entry to a secure.csv file. It requires minimal HTML form changes - just change the beginning form tag to post to CsvMail. It is very easy to configure, but includes plenty of extra options, including domain security settings and a bounceback required fields option. A fully-functional evaluation version is available.
The Erwin library is a very efficient and robust data structure template library for C and C++. No templates are used; a Perl script generates C files. Vectors (dynamic arrays), lists, and hash tables (maps) of arbitrary key and value types are provided. Several tools are included for auto-generating a C interface around C++ libraries, C++ extensions like slots/properties, symbol (=hashed string) management, sophisticated assertion macros, and documentation extraction.
GPLIGC is a program for analyzing IGC flight data from GNSS flight data recorders used by glider pilots. It uses Perl/Tk and gnuplot. The openGLIGCexplorer (written in C++) allows one to view the data in 3D with OpenGL, and can also be used as a digital elevation model terrain viewer. It can also be used for off-screen rendering of 2D and 3D images of flight tracks or terrain/map data.
The JACAL Project is a suite of programs, scripts, guidelines, protocols, documentation, and diskettes that assist in quick, network based loads/builds of machines. It has been used to build 70 University lab machines from scratch (No OS) in two hours. This includes NT service packs and 80+ applications on the NT side.
