BitNami PostgreSQL module is an add-on for WAMPStack, LAMPStack, MAMPStack, or RubyStack. This module ships and configures the PostgreSQL database server and the phpPgAdmin application to handle the administration of PostgreSQL over the Web. PostgreSQL is a powerful, open source object-relational database system. It has more than 15 years of active development and a proven architecture that has earned it a strong reputation for reliability, data integrity, and correctness. It is fully ACID compliant, has full support for foreign keys, joins, views, triggers, and stored procedures (in multiple languages).
Collectables Database is a simple, easy-to-use application for using the control and data management capabilities of Postgres to catalog various kinds of collections. It delivers content in a format that is easy to use and manipulate within the convenience of a modern Web browser. The initial focus of the application is on cataloging a comic book collection. Collectables Database can run from a hosted Web server or on the user's local machine through the use of a virtual appliance.
DBeaver is a universal database manager and SQL Client. It supports MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, DB2, MSSQL, Sybase, Mimer, HSQLDB, SQLite, Derby, and any database that has a JDBC driver. It is a GUI program that allows you to view the structure of a database, execute SQL queries and scripts, browse and export table data, handle BLOB/CLOB values, modify database meta objects, etc. It has a native UI (provided by the Eclipse SWT library), great performance, and relatively low memory consumption.
PostgreSQL is a powerful, open source object-relational database system that's been under active development for over 15 years. This JumpBox includes PostgreSQL 8 along with PHPPgAdmin set up and ready to run. The PostgreSQL server is network-accessible and provides a great storage engine for a broad array of applications.
PGObject::Simple::Role provides an interface to the PGObject service locator for Moo and Moose Perl classes. This service locator is intended to integrate Perl objects with PostgreSQL user-defined functions, and this uses the "simple" mapping approach. Between PGObject::Simple::Rrole and PGObject::Util::DBMethod, it is possible to write fully-declarative classes in which all calculation logic is handed off to database functions.
The YB.ORM library aims to simplify writing C++ code that has to deal with SQL databases. The goal is to provide a convenient interface like SQLAlchemy (Python) or Hibernate (Java). The library itself is cross-platform and supports a variety of SQL dialects: SQLite3, MySQL, Postgres, Oracle, and Firebird. Integration with Boost, Qt4, and wxWidgets is built-in. In a typical usage scenario, you would describe your database schema and table relationships in a simple XML-based format, generate SQL code to populate database schema with tables, generate C++ classes, add application-specific logic to the classes, and use these classes in cooperation with the Session object to query objects from the database, create new or modify/delete existing objects, or link and unlink objects using relations. Simple serialization to XML is supported along with connection pooling.
