Me and My Shadow is a puzzle/platform game in which you try to reach the exit by solving puzzles. Spikes, moving blocks, fragile blocks, and much more stand between you and the exit. Record your moves and let your shadow mimic them to reach blocks you couldn't reach alone. Play through over 40 levels and use the built-in level editor to make your own.
RoseThorn is a cross-platform library for 2D and 3D games running on GNU/Linux (and possibly other Unix-like OSes) and Windows. GLoid is a 3D block game inspired by Arkanoid. It was originally written as an SDL and OpenGL exercise, but has developed into a full-featured, highly playable game with refined graphics and sound effects. It runs equally well on Windows, Linux, and Mac OS X, and has minimal hardware requirements.
The Kowalski project aims to provide a data driven, lightweight cross platform audio solution. The target audience is developers of games and similar applications where real time audio plays an important role. The Kowalski engine, which is the runtime component, relies only on host-specific external libraries to pass the final output buffers to the audio hardware. All other processing is done in the engine code. Features include positional audio (distance attenuation, cone attenuation, Doppler shift, binaural panning), real time Ogg Vorbis decoding, a powerful mix bus system, and tools to build, validate, and view Kowalski data.
HexGlass is a Tetris-like puzzle game based on a hexagonal grid. Ten different types of blocks continuously fall from above and you must arrange them to make horizontal rows of hexagonal bricks. Completing any row causes those hexagonal blocks to disappear and those above move downwards. The blocks gradually fall faster and the game is over when the screen fills up and blocks can no longer fall from the top.
0 A.D. (pronounced "zero ey-dee") is a cross-platform real-time strategy (RTS) game of ancient warfare. It's a historically-based war/economy game that allows players to relive or rewrite the history of ancient civilizations, each depicted at their peak of economic growth and military prowess.
Forge has more than 3,000 cards and allows to you play the trading card game Magic: The Gathering against the computer with rules enforcement. Other formats include drafting, sealed deck, and the "quest mode" where you start with a basic deck and you win more cards. The AI and user interface are basic but usable.
