Suri Pluma is a satellite image processing tool and visualizer. It can open the most common image formats without importing to an internal format and minimizing the memory required for visualization. It is designed to be modular and extensible. It has a meassurement tool (distance and areas with error estimation) and geographical and map coordinate information.
Kana no quiz is a little educational tool to memorize the pronunciation of Japanese kana (hiragana & katakana) in an easy way. The method is quite simple: a kana appears randomly and you have to find its romaji transcription. Kana no quiz may thus fit the needs of both a beginner and a master of kana. It has been translated into several languages, and many quiz options are configurable. Kana images have been initially modelled in SVG and are placed under the Free Art License (http://artlibre.org/licence/lal/en/).
ReadingBug is a designed to help in memorizing words, spelling, mathematics, and other things. ReadingBug may look like just another flash card program, but it can do much more. The program will track the progress of the student in a simple HTML table that can be imported into other programs for further evaluation. The program is fully configurable.
