Whiskers is an educational PocketPC application that tries to exploit all the hardware available on most common PDAs providing a link between different features such as GPS-Bluetooth-Wireless. Generally, whiskers was built with radio reconnaissance in mind as help for geocachers or wardrivers, but also as a penetration and audit tool. There is support for in-depth device scanning, triggering actions based on filters when certain devices are in range, centralized GPS logging with search functions for private or public databases, and much more.

It is based on the leitner cardfile system and is compatible with Pauker (http://pauker.sf.net, the desktop version of this software). MiniPauker uses a combination of ultra-shortterm, shortterm, and longterm memory. Samurai Kanji a flash-card application for memorizing kanji. It is inspired by "Remembering the Kanji I" by James Heisig. It can run on any PDA or mobile device running PalmOS, SymbianOS, or Windows CE. What primarily makes this different from other, similar applications is that the kanji are divided into the same lessons that Heisig uses in his book. The user can then choose which lessons to drill on as the user progresses through the book.

Squeak is an OpenSource and super-portable implementation of a multi-media capable Smalltalk-80 based object-oriented programming environment. It is written entirely in Smalltalk and has a high-performance VM, created by compiling the Smalltalk VM code into efficient and portable C code.
