Thyrd is an experimental, reflective, visual programming language and environment. In Thyrd, both data and code are stored in cells situated in nested two-dimensional grids. All operations the user can perform to edit the structure are implemented as operators in the Thyrd language, thus a Thyrd program can inspect and modify itself or other programs in the same space. Thyrd belongs to the Forth family of languages. It most resembles Joy in that it uses quotation and combinators to implement iteration and recursion.
Monster script (or just Monster) is an advanced scripting language made specifically for game development. The language features many new and powerful features, while still aiming first and foremost at increasing productivity and actual usability. The language is especially designed to facilitate game modding and user-generated content and scripts. It is highly object oriented, type safe, bytecode-compiled, and is easily embedded into existing game engines.
Glulxe is an interpreted implementation of the Glulx portable Interactive Fiction VM, like the Z-machine but using the Glk API. Unlike the Z-machine, it uses 32-bit data and addresses, so it can handle game files up to four gigabytes long. Also unlike the Z-machine, it has native support for Glk I/O, so game files can use any capability Glk provides. However, like the Z-machine, you can write games in the Inform language and compile them to Glulx game files.
xpython is a bundle that includes the Python interpreter and runtime and a number of libraries. It can be compiled into a single binary, thus simplifying software distributions without proper package management. The binary contains Python, wxWindows, SQLite, and a number of useful modules.
ClearLisp is a Common LISP interpreter written in C# with the purpose of scripting in a .NET or Mono environment. The ClearLisp language supports a large subset of CL and has an object model with generic functions, class and instance methods, properties, and import of existing .NET classes. ClearLisp executes LISP scripts in interactive mode or in Web mode (IIS; XSP or Apache with Mono). Sample ClearLisp code is provided in the form of a personal, file-based wiki Web application.
