GRAL is a library for creating high quality plots and charts in Java. Many plot types are available like scatter plot, bubble plots, line plots, area plots, pie charts, and bar charts. Additionally, GRAL can exchange and process data (smoothing), and various plug-ins allow the import and export of data and graphics to formats like CSV, JPEG, PNG, EPS, PDF, or SVG.
DOLPHIN SLED is a hierarchical schematic entry solution with graphic linking of components, hierarchical configuration of the netlist, and multi-language netlisting (SPICE, Verilog, VHDL-AMS, etc.). Interoperability with other schematic entry tools, particularly the ECS family (including Synario, Cohesion, and Laker-AMS) is ensured for capitalizing on legacy designs and cooperative work. Interoperability is ensured through standard design exchange formats (EDIF2) and scriptability for customization.
COPASI is a software application for modeling and simulation of biochemical networks. The software package has a GUI that lets users define biochemical network models by entering chemical reactions and kinetic equations. A powerful simulation engine can then perform simulations of the dynamics of the networks and carry out many different computational analyses. COPASI can simulate dynamics using either an ODE approach or a stochastic chemical kinetics approach (Gillespie-type algorithms).
GPSdings is a Java 1.5 command line tool for the manipulation and analysis of track and waypoint data recorded with a GPS receiver. It comprises the following applications: exifloc (determines the geolocation of digital camera pictures from a GPS track), trackanalyzer (analyzes and plots GPS tracks), gpxkml (converts GPX to KML), googlemap (converts GPX to Google Maps API Javascript), and gpxovl (converts between GPX and OVL formats).
CLUTO is a software package for clustering low- and high-dimensional datasets and for analyzing the characteristics of the various clusters. CLUTO is well-suited for clustering data sets arising in many diverse application areas including information retrieval, customer purchasing transactions, web, GIS, science, and biology. CLUTO's distribution consists of both stand-alone programs and a library via which an application program can access directly the various clustering and analysis algorithms implemented in CLUTO.
PrIMETV is a program that can visualize tree-within-tree phenomena such as gene/species tree reconciliations. Output can be given in a range of formats, including PostScript, Fig, and SVG. Thus, it is possible to easily edit the final illustration in many available drawing programs. PrIMETV can also directly manipulate important attributes such as color and layout policy.
Brabosphere is a program for the 3D visualization of molecular systems and their properties. Its name is derived from the quantum mechanical program package BRABO, for which it acts as a graphical frontend. It can also be used for the analysis and visualization of the data resulting from this type of calculation, so results from some other quantum mechanical applications will also be accepted.
TRIP is a general computer algebra system dedicated to celestial mechanics. It includes a numerical kernel and has interfaces to gnuplot and xmgrace. Computations can be performed with double, quadruple, or multi-precision. Users can dynamically load external libraries written in C, C++, or Fortran. Parallel computations on multivariate polynomials can be performed.
