It provides users with a number of useful tools for their MPI programs such as a set of profiling libraries that collect information about the behavior of MPI programs, graphical trace file analyzers, serializers, type checkers, collective operations validators, etc.
WMSServer is a PHP class that can be used to retrieve usage statistics of a Windows Media server. It uses a Windows COM object to connect to a Windows Media server, given a its host name and user name and password to retrieve the statistics. It can retrieve many types of statistics regarding the users connected to the Windows Media server, bandwidth usage, protocol type usage, etc.
Wiseman is an implementation of the WS-Management specification for the Java SE platform. The project scope includes the WS-Management specification and its dependent specifications, which can be found at http://www.dmtf.org/standards/wbem/wsman/. The project requires Java SE 5+ or above, and is built on JAXB 2.0 and SAAJ 1.3 (part of the JAX-WS project). Ant scripts for standalone and Netbeans builds are supplied.
TDA (Thread Dump Analyzer) is a small Swing GUI for analyzing thread dumps generated by the Sun Java VM. It has been tested with 1.4.2_x, 1.5.0_x, and 1.6.0_x releases. It provides statistics, gives information about locked monitors and waiting threads, can diff between threads to look for similarities, and has "long running thread" detection.
Libsmbios is a cross-platform library intended to be used to obtain common information available in a BIOS. Major features include the ability to update the BIOS on Dell systems (in conjunction with the Dell RBU Linux kernel driver), programmatic access to information in SMBIOS tables, and the ability to obtain Dell system-specific information such as the Dell System ID number, service tag, and asset tag. Future plans include APIs for $PIR and mptable mapping. There is a C API for some of the more commonly used functions, and example binaries to show off most of the facilities.
jNetStream is a sniffer and a protocol analyzer. A set of applications and complete Java library are provided with a comprehensive API. Hundreds of protocols have been defined, and the list can be expanded with a simple NPL language. It is appropriate for custom protocol development, grad students, and network teachers/professors.
