Jake2 is a pure Java port of the Quake2 game engine. It features OpenGL rendering using jogl and OpenAL sound using joal. To use the Jake2 engine, you need either the data files from the original game or from the demo version. An online installation of the demo levels is possible. A lwjgl driver is included as an alternative to the jogl/joal combination. Single player and multiplayer modes are working. Jake2 comes close to the performance of the original engine written in C.

Bandwidth Monitor NG is a small console-based live network and disk I/O bandwidth monitor for Linux, BSD, Solaris, Mac OS X, and others. It supports /proc/net/dev, netstat, getifaddr, sysctl, kstat, /proc/diskstats, /proc/partitions, IOKit, devstat, and libstatgrab. An unlimited number of interfaces and disks are supported. Interfaces and disks are added or removed dynamically from the list. You can white or blacklist interfaces and disks. The output includes KB/s, Kb/s, packets, errors, average, max, and total sum, and can be viewed via curses, a plain console, CSV, or HTML. Configuration can be done through a config file or the command line.
NLog is a .NET logging library designed with simplicity and flexibility in mind. The API (application programming interface) is similar to log4net, and the configuration is very simple. NLog uses a routing table while log4net uses a logger hierarchy with attachable ppenders.
