Game Controller Hack (GCH) allows you to use a game controller (like a game pad or joystick) with games which do not support them. It achieves this by mapping the directional input (like analogue joysticks and directional pads) and button presses to mouse and keyboard events. This allows all types of games to be played, from first person shooters to simple 2D flash games.
Gibbon is a graphical client for playing backgammon online on the First Internet Backgammon Server or servers that use the FIBS protocol. It is platform-independent, using GTK+ for its user interface. It also contains a converter for different match formats. Currently supported are the Smart Game Format, JellyFish, and JavaFIBS.
Higgs.IO is a high performance, message oriented network library built for realtime systems. It provides a core extensible framework and libraries built on top of the core. Libraries include a WebSocket server, an HTTP server and client, and Boson, a custom serialization and RMI library.
Hypersocket is a cross-platform VPN solution built for all types of remote access scenarios. Powerful, yet simple to use, Hypersocket uses a single installed client to provide access to any number of network resources. Its powerful granular access means you can have fine-grained control over your entire network and remote users. Accessed through a secure HTTPS port, the Hypersocket client provides access to any number of host/port combinations, all assigned server-side by the Administrator through roles. The Administrator is able to configure the server through a Web portal on the same HTTPS port.
The aim of this project is to create a free (open source, OS independent) remake of the classic SSI game Imperialism. While the spirit and many concepts of the original should be preserved, it should not become a pure copy but advance the concept in a sense that modern elements of strategic games are included, e.g. of the Civilization series. The game is written in Java using Swing for the user interface. The philosophy is to keep it as simple as possible, use standard/well tested libraries wherever possible and to demand clean, understandable code.
