Genmenu can generate menus for Blackbox, Fluxbox, Openbox, Window Maker, and Enlightenment based on the program binaries found installed on a system. The list of programs to search for are contained within the script. Users can, to a limited degree, customize their menus via a set of interactive questions.

Hackedbox is a stripped down version of Blackbox, the X11 window manager. The tool bar and slit have been removed, as the goal of Hackedbox is to be a small "feature-set" window manager with no bloat. There are no plans to add any functionality, only bugfixes and speed enhancements whenever possible.
Ice Sound Manager was designed to ease the management of sound events, sound themes, and the IceSound server in the IceWM window manager. It is also intended to be an improvement upon the noble but primitive icesndcfg. The main improvements over icesndcfg include a support for sound event "themes", more comprehensive help, easy management and configuration of the IceSound server, a cleaner GUI interface, automatic starting of the IceSound server, and a more conservative approach to disk space usage.
