WMixer is a complete OSS mixer solution in dockapp form factor. All channels are supported, stereo channels balance can be adjusted, and main recording source can be set. Volume can also be adjusted using the mousewheel on newer mice, the mixer automatically updates if another program changes mixer channels, and it uses very little CPU time. There is also an "On-Screen-Display" feature to visualize current volume using a TV-like volume bar.
Flwm is an X window manager designed to be user friendly and use the absolute minimum amount of screen real estate. It has no icons, using a pop-up menu to select hidden or new windows, and sideways titlebars. Flwm is also designed to achieve Gnome, KDE, and Motif compatibility simultaneously and has also been tested with many SGI programs that normally require 4DWM.
Wmbattery displays the status of your laptop's battery in a small icon. This includes if it is plugged in, if the battery is charging, how many minutes of battery life remain, battery life remaining (with both a percentage and a graph), and battery status (high - green, low - yellow, or critical - red).
FVWM is a multiple large virtual desktop window manager originally derived from twm. FVWM is intended to have a small memory footprint and a rich feature set, be extremely customizable and extendable and have a high degree of Motif mwm compatibility. FVWM is highly extensible through its module interface.
