Lumbricidae WORM (Widget Object Relational Mapper) is an SQLAlchemy binding for Webwidgets. SQLAlchemy presents database tables and rows as Python classes and objects. Webwidgets is a framework for writing Web applications as if they were desktop applications. WORM lets you easily map Webwidgets input fields, tables, and other widgets to database mapped classes, instances, and attributes. It requires the Argentum SQLAlchemy convenience library.
Qt is a comprehensive, object-oriented development framework that enables development of high-performance, cross-platform rich-client and server-side applications. When you implement a program with Qt, you can run it on the X Window System (Unix/X11), Apple Mac OS X, and Microsoft Windows NT/9x/2000/XP by simply compiling the source code for the platform you want. Qt is the basis for the KDE desktop environment, and is also used in numerous commercial applications such as Google Earth, Skype for Linux, and Adobe Photoshop Elements.
TSDL was written for the turn-based strategy game "Turious", but is a stand alone library. It provides a number of useful widgets and event handling functions. Its widgets include container, label, button, text, numbox, checkbox, and console. All of the widgets can be given individual background images and custom text. Containers and widgets can be shown and hidden individually, and will retain their visibility state. The library uses OpenGL for rendering, allowing it to be used in 3D games as well as 2D.
XUIML for Adobe Flex is a framework and markup language to create Adobe Flex user interfaces quickly and without coding a single line of ActionScript. The XUIML terminal connects to any SOAP or RESTful Web service and expects simple UI instructions such as "open window", "add tab panel", or "draw textbox", which are then rendered as Adobe Flex widgets.
bit is a library that makes it easier to dynamically manipulate data buffers containing fields that do not have octet (byte) boundaries. An example is the IP header, which is generally dealt with at compile time via bit fields in a structure. A key feature of the bit library is support for loading data formats described in XML files and dynamically parsing those fields at run time. This library was initially created to support reading various kinds of robotic device I/O (IR sensors, motors), but it has also been used for run time parsing of IP, TCP, UDP, and RTP headers.
conexus is a generalized C++ I/O library that includes network support for IPv4 and IPv6 sockets, serial/TTY communications, kernel message queues, pipes, and files. Objects use sigc++ for signaling property changes and other information. Sub-libraries include conexus-gtkmm (provides a set of gtkmm widgets), conexus-dbus (provides dbus support for endpoints), conexus-nspr (provides NSPR endpoints), conexus-nss (provides NSS endpoints), and conexus-ssl (provides OpenSSL endpoints).
