Open Portal is a very simple user portal with built-in administration tools for user management. It is designed to be a skeleton from which you can build a simple managed and secure Web site. It comes with a default administrative account which automatically becomes disabled once a real administrative account is added. Open Portal is slightly different from secure portal in that you can have some sections of the portal publicly viewable and some password protected.
Tweeter is another command line script that can update your Twitter status from the command line. It also uses the SSL link to protect your username and password. Tweeter can only post a new status; it cannot follow anyhone, send direct messages, or anything else. The username and password are not stored on the file system, so you can post to different accounts with ease. It should also work on older machines.
PHP Template Inheritance consists of a handful of functions which allow child templates to inherit common structure from base templates. Multiple levels of inheritance are possible. The inspiration for this project was Django's template inheritance mechanism. Templates are PHP files too, so you can do (almost) whatever you want in them.
