JGame is a 2D game engine that makes multi-platform development easier. It runs on the Java JRE 1.3+ platform with optional OpenGL (JOGL) enhancements, the J2ME (MIDP2.0/CLDC1.1) mobile platform, and the Android (2.1+) platform. JGame features sprites with automatic animation and collision detection, a tile-based background with easy sprite-tile interaction facilities, automatic scaling, sound, game state, persistent storage, and game options. The engine provides an enhanced graphics API with a fallback to simpler and more efficient graphics on J2ME and plain JRE. A patched version of the JBox2D physics engine that runs on all platforms is included.
Quick Order is a realtime ordering system using Java Wireless HTTP Form. It uses J2ME libraries to submit forms to an HTTP server running PHP and MySQL. It is ideal for making orders in restaurants, point of sale (POS), etc. It supports English and Chinese Big 5 encoding.
GPS Tracker allows someone to track a GPS enabled cell phone using Google Maps. The project was tested with a Motorola i355 cell phone on the Sprint/Nextel network. You need to have a data plan with the cell phone provider so that you can make updates to your Web site from the cell phone. There are two projects available. The first project is built with PHP and MySQL. The second project is built with .NET and Microsoft SQL Server. Both projects use Java (J2ME) on the cell phone.

Mobile RSS Reader is a J2ME (Java ME) MIDP application that is able to read most RSS servers and feed versions. RSS is a lightweight XML format designed for sharing headlines and other content like blogs and news. The data are stored on the mobile device and updated on request. It supports most encodings. It can import and synchronize RSS feed lists using formats and filter feeds based on name and URL. All/modified feeds can be updated with a single command. The zip file contains all versions for MIDP 1.0 devices, MIDP 2.0 devices without JSR-75, and MIDP 2.0 with JSR-75 devices.
iLabs mobile toolbox is a set of libraries and demo applications for Java ME. It includes libraries for XMPP, feed reading, and highly functional and fast, but limited, rendering of HTML with some CSS. The OpenMiniBrowser demo application shows some of the potential of the HTML renderer. It is intended to be embedded in other applications, but may also be used as a standalone browser. The toolbox also includes "the Widger": a HTML and XML based application that allows much of the application logic to reside on a server, while the user interface is a true Java ME application and not just Web pages.
