WebEngine is a lightweight, versatile, content-centric Web framework to quickly build and deliver next generation content-oriented Web applications. It enables developers using Java 5 and/or JVM-based scripting languages (Groovy, JavaScript, Jython, JRuby, etc.) to quickly develop Web applications on top of the Nuxeo Core ECM platform.
HOP is a software development kit designed for the Web 2.0. It works hand in hand with Web browsers in order to enhance the capabilities of the browsers. It is designed for programming interactive Web applications such as Web agendas, Web galleries, and music players. It is compatible with the major modern Web browsers (e.g., Firefox, Safari, Chrome, Opera, and IE 8). HOP features a versatile Web server, an optimizing native code compiler for server code, an on-the-fly JavaScript compiler for client code, an extensive set of widgets for programming fancy and portable Web GUIs, native multimedia support for enabling ubiquitous Web multimedia applications, fast WebDAV level 1 support, and an extensive set of libraries.
Pike ScriptRunner allows you to run scripts written in Pike under any FastCGI-enabled Web server. It provides request parsing and I/O handling, enabling you to get right to the task of writing your code. It is a dynamic object-oriented language with a C-like syntax and a number of features that make it desirable for rapid prototyping and deployment of Web applications.
Haserl is a small CGI program that parses POST and GET data from Web clients and provides a PHP-like syntax for writing dynamic Web content. A Unix shell is used for the scripting language. Lua is also supported as an embedded scripting language. It is intended for environments where something like PHP is too big, and compiles to around 20KB.
C-Cramp (the C-Cramp College Radio Audio Management Program) is a Web-based frontend to MySQL for managing the types of things that small radio stations might need: audio files, data, and "metadata"; DJ and staff information, schedules, live music and program logs, and all sorts of other data. Currently, a cross-platform PHP application is the focus of the project, but more features and types of programs are planned that will hopefully enable easier playback, storage, loading, and entering for all types of applicable data.
The EASY pdflib provides a set of functions and procedures which allow an easy generation of PDF files from within tdbengine-based Web applications. It generates Adobe Acrobat Reader compliant output. There are common functions for drawing simple texts, tables, or graphics, as well as table access functions to directly output database contents.
Tdbengine is an RDBMS with an integrated programming language. It represents the enhancement of the famous DOS-TDB, and is designed to handle databases on the Web. It connects to the Web server using the standard CGI interface, or runs on the command line. It is very small (about 400 KBytes), extremely quick, and easy to administrate. Its features are full text indexing, an automatic data link system, and the script language EASY, which replaces the commonly used SQL with its modular code.
