jmxsh is a fully scriptable command-line JMX client based on Tcl. It is simply a Tcl interpreter powered by Java/Tcl (with command-line history and editing provided by JLine) that has special command-line options for connecting to JMX servers and special Tcl commands for interacting with JMX servers. jmxsh is capable of simultaneously connecting to multiple JMX servers. There's also a "browse mode" for exploring the remote JMX namespace without knowing beforehand the names of MBeans or their properties. jmxsh and all its dependencies are distributed in a self-contained executable jar file for ease of use.
Pixane is an image processing library for Tcl that allows the scripting of all kind of image transformations. It supports reading from and writing to a large set of file formats (JPEG, PNG, GIF, BMP, WBMP, etc) and provides anti-aliased text rendering and a set of built-in fonts. It doesn't requires Tk, so it can be used to easily generate images dynamically from CGI. Binaries are provided for many platforms as dynamic libraries with no external dependencies for easy deployment. It is also a core component of the eTcl distribution.
steelpoll is a Web polling application which allows you to quickly and easily create and manage polls by just editing plain Tcl files. A single poll can be created by editing the variables in a single file. You can optionally control votes by checking the user's IP address. A parsed vote log can be viewed. It doesn't require any SQL database backend because it stores the results in easily parsed plain text files. It doesn't use graphics to display poll results, which is great for text-based Web browsers.
nsmcrypt is an AOLserver module and standard Tcl library that implements an interface to the mcrypt library (libmcrypt). It supports cipher algorithms (such as blowfish, des, or rijndael-256), cipher modes (such as cbc, cfb, ncfb, or stream), and also supports sharing with nsv_* commands. It was tested with AOLserver 3.4.x and 4.0.x and Tcl 8.4.
nsmhash is an AOLserver module and Tcl package that implements an interface to the mhash library (libmhash). It supports hash, hmac, and key generation algorithms (such as SHA1, MD5, MCRYPT, and S2K_SALTED), and it also supports sharing with nsv_* commands. It was tested with AOLserver 3.4.x and 4.0.x and Tcl 8.4.
