Active Image Viewer is an image viewer that provides a very efficient way to display multiple images within a small area. Thumbnails are automatically generated and displayed (removing the need to create smaller versions of images). When a visitor clicks a thumbnail, the full size image is displayed within the current page. Each full size image may have a link attached to it which can be set to either open in the current browser window or a new window.
Active-DVI is a DVI previewer and a programmable presenter for slides written in LaTeX. The previewer features color anti-aliasing, inclusion of images with alpha channel and blending, encapsulated Postscript file inclusion, Gpic specials to display pictures, correct treatment of many inlined-Postscript specials, page background settings, and Japanese pTeX DVI extension support. To present your DVI files, it features basic effects for presentation (pause, delay, dynamic text color change), annotations displayed on demand (similar to pop-up balloons), hyperlinks from slide to slide or to other files, replay of previously recorded parts of the display, text movements, page transitions, embedded applications, and scratching on slide to interactively modify the text on screen. Its special effects are set and launched from within your LaTeX source file via the macros of the advi.sty LaTeX package provided by the distribution. In addition, Caml hackers can program new and fancy Active-DVI effects in the source code of the presenter.
The Adobe SVG plugin allows Mozilla-family browsers to view SVG content on the Web or locally. SVG is a recently-approved W3C standard for vector graphics. SVG is XML-based, making it immediately accessible by the whole range of XML tools. It also has tremendously rich graphical capabilities, surpassing most or all other currently used vector graphics formats.
The Advanced Banner Rotation software enables you to display all your adverts in just one area of your page. It will load all your banner adverts and rotate them while your visitors view your page. In addition, search engines will no longer judge your page to be just another classified ad page. Its main features include unlimited banners, configurable link and target frame/window for each banner, any size banners, adjustable transition speed, ability to vary the pause time between banners, and a range of changeover effects.
Aeskulap is a medical image viewer. It is able to load a series of special images stored in the DICOM format for review. It is able to query and fetch DICOM images from archive nodes (also called PACS) over the network. The goal of this project is to create a full open source replacement for commercially available DICOM viewers. It is based on gtkmm, glademm, and gconfmm and designed to run under Linux. Ports of these packages are available for different platforms. It should be quite easy to port It to any platform were these packages are available.
AgileGallery is a photo gallery that processes the XML output from Picasa, generates paging and thumbnails, and displays the full sized photos along with any captions entered in Picasa. AgileGallery presently comes in two flavors: one that uses AJAX for the interface and one that uses Flash. AgileGallery does not require any server-side technology to generate photo galleries.
