PLIB is a set of libraries to write games and other realtime interactive applications that are 100% portable across a wide range of hardware and operating systems. It's used by Majik3D, FlightGear, and others, and includes libraries for GUI widgets, sound replay, geometry, scene graph, joystick, and fonts/text.
GImageView is a GTK+ based image viewer. It supports tabbed browsing, thumbnail table views, directory tree views, drag and drop, reading the thumbnail cache of other famous image viewers, and a flexible user interface. It also support movies using the Xine library and MPlayer, and supports images in compressed archive formats like tar.gz, zip, and lha.
WOMP! is a micro Linux distribution on a bootable CD that takes up 13 to 18MB depending on the selected options. It does not install anything on the computer's hard drive, automatically detects your sound card, network card (including PCMCIA), Conexant soft modem (present on most notebooks), or PCMCIA modem. After booting it allows you to play movie and audio files, as well as browse image files on CDs or the local hard drive. It can also play DVDs, VCDs, and audio CDs, and browse the Web over the LAN or using PPP. It can be configured to automatically play content after booting.
The Helix Player is an audio and video player based on the Helix DNA Client engine. The GTK+ version includes a Mozilla browser plug-in and supports local file playback and streaming over RTSP/RTP and HTTP.
