The NetStream2000 Linux driver provides a proprietary user-land driver for Sigma Designs EM8400-based MPEG-2 decoders (i.e. NetStream2000) and GPL'd kernel modules which provide DVD access (without kernel recompilation until 2.2.15). It also includes a GPL'd DVD player with access to all DVD functionality such as menu navigation, fast forward, languages, subtitles, and so on. Finally, this kit provides an API and the documentation necessary to write customized DVD players.

ODS (Open Digital Support) is a library and utility program for cameras such as the Kodak DC-290 that run Flashpoint's Digita operating system. The library is a UNIX implementation of the Digita Host Interface Specification, intended for embedding Digita support in other products such as gPhoto. The utility is a simple command-line program for standalone downloading of photos from the cameras.
PhotoPC is a "freeware" software which may be used to control and retrieve photos from Epson PhotoPC digital cameras under Unix/Linux, Microsoft Windows 95, Windows NT, and MS-DOS. (This software may also work with Agfa ePhoto, Olympus D-xxxL, and Sanyo digital cameras based on firmware from Sierra Imaging, Inc.) <P>The software is command-line oriented, and does not make use of a graphical user interface (GUI). By using this software with a "batch file" or Windows short-cut icon, photos can be downloaded from the camera quickly, with a minimum off effort.
phpDVD is a simple PHP script to keep track of your DVD collection. The information is stored in a MySQL database and an interface is provided to add, edit and delete entries. Customizable fields allow you to display the details of importance to you; the default fields are: Title, Studio, Year, Aspect Ratio and Audio Format. You can optionally link each title to its corresponding page at the Internet Movie Database, or to a URL of your choice. The look and feel is fully customizable through header/footer/style sheet templates.
Plugger is a multimedia plugin for Unix Netscape 3.0 or later that handles Quicktime, MPEG, MP2, AVI, SGI-movie, Tiff, DL, IFF-anim, MIDI, Soundtracker, AU, WAV, and Commodore 64 audio files. MPEG audio and video can be played streaming. Plugger is a very small plugin which uses external programs to show/play the different formats.
PM2V is a library for parallel encoding of a video sequence in MPEG II. It is mainly based on mpeg2encode v1.2a made by the MPEG software simulation group, and aims to speed up the computing of MPEG video sequence by using multiple processors or multiple computers linked by a LAN. It also uses MPI so it can use SMP architectures or a network of workstations. The speed increase has been tested to be better than 400% for six processors over one.
